Fenbendazole (brand names Panacur and Safe-Guard) is an anthelmintic, an agent that kills parasitic worms. The combination was found to improve outcomes compared with chemotherapy alone, and even with surgery. The research on fenbendazole and chemotherapy is promising, but more studies are needed to confirm these initial findings in larger trials with a greater number of patients.
